Teddy grahams rule

I swear to God, I think they’re my favorite snake food.

Work was uneventful and boring, which is good. I was in Frozen for the first time in a while, and it reminded me how much I hate working down there. Readers of the Hoobablog will remember me complaining about a coworker last week. She didn’t say squat to me today, which is fine by me. I think she wanted to, but for whatever reason she bite her tongue. Also, Pedro still owes me lunch for doubting the Tigers.

At this point in the blog post, I’d like to send my condolences to the family of Yankees’s pitcher Cory Lidle. I wasn’t a fan of his, but no one deserves to go out like him. I will remember his family, friends and teammates in my prays as they try to cope with this trageity.

Speaking of hard shots, I had a rant setup on why the Tigers wouldn’t want A-rod, and then Steve and Pinko had to go all blogosphere on me and create a Sports Blog for the three of us, entitled Zumaya Shoots, He Scores! I mean, I guess I could retype it, but I’m lazy. You can find the post here

I have an exciting day of excitingness…atude planned for tomorrow. I’m gonna hit the library, do some school work and coding, get Qdoba for lunch, hit Perani’s for bargins on Tigers jersey. Later in the evening, I’m going to setup a WAP at my cousin Jan’s apartment. And she said she will pay me, which is good, ’cause I’m planning on Gambling on Friday (as long as the weather isn’t shitty shitty)

Well, that’s all I got for now. And congrats to the Tigers on another win. I forgot how heart attack inducing Todd Jones save opertunities can be

Wow, I missed another day

The Tigers have a 1-0 lead on the A’s now. Which is a good thing. But there’s something about this series that just doesn’t sit well. Not sure what, but there’s something about the A’s that I just don’t like.

That being said, I hope they pull something out.

So I’m running Shadowrun this weekend with Spencer and the guys from UMF. Should go pretty smoothly, regardless of the fact that I have only a couple of days to make an adventure.

There’s a kid in my Wednesday class that I ohh so want to pop in the mouth. The kid’s a moron and has yet to say anything intelligent. Ohh well.

I apologize for the previous part of the post. I’m a bit out of it, and going to lunch helped clear my head and focus for a bit.

I’m so not looking forward to work tonight, but whatever. I’ve got the next two days off, so it’s all good

That’s it. Time to end this trainwreck

Oops

I apologize for my lack of updating over the weekend, between work and the Yankees getting Bonderm0wned (more on that later), I forgot. No, this is not the start of a bad habit of not updating, but whatever.

If there is one thing I’ve learned this weekend at work, its that Genesee county has a lot of uglies bitches. I mean, holy shit. The faster I get out of here and onto a place where I can find someone attractive and not-white trash to try to date, the better.

So Hockey season is several days old, and yet, I haven’t watched any hockey. Mainly because I’ve been to obsessed with how the Tigers kicked some New York ass. Did I call it or what? I mean, good pitching beats good hitting anyday. And that idiot Joe Morgan on ESPN is too much of an idiot to realize that the Yankees only had great hitting on paper. I got a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, not only because the Yankees are out of the playoffs, and not only because the Tigers did it, but because heads are going to roll in New York and that Detroit was responsible. To paraphrase Jason, “We made this!”

I got a 79 on a quiz in my one class. Not too happy about that, but hey, what am I gonna do? I’m going to just have to try to kick some more ass on future quizzes and such.

There were a shitton of Marines in panara just now. They were in Dress Uniform, but I think they were undercover. If I were paranoid, I’d suggest that they were monitoring me, bcause I pwn their email. But, I’m not.

Anyway, that’s it for now. My ADD is kicking in and not letting me focus on posting. More later when I can pay attention

Fuck New York

Seriously, the Yankees and their fans can all give me slow head. Also, Fox’s commentating crew.

Today, at work, I got the opertunity to bitch out one of my coworkers to my boss. Here’s what happened. We’ve got a new guy and I was incharge of training him. That pissed off one of my coworkers who has this idea that everone get helps besides her. It’s really quite annoying, mainly because it’s a lie.

Anyway, she was making snide comment to me all night, and stupid shit like that. I didn’t care because I don’t really give a fuck as to what she thinks about me. But she crossed the line. Me and the new guy, who was working his second day and knew nothing, were getting our returns from the service desk and she’s up there and start going on a “men are useless, I had to work by myself and blah blah blah.”

She can call me a worthless male as much as she wants, but but the minute she does it infront of the service desk when customers could be present, then I take offense. I was so angry I was shaking. So I talked with my boss, and my coworker will be talked to. Also, to be a dick, and to play this bitch at her own game, I’m going to refer to myself in the third person as “the useless male” whenever possible.

So, I finally installed Half-Life 2. And it is awesome.

Tomorrow, I’m gonna nerd it up big time, coding and playing with linux. I’m gonna try setting up an SSH tunnel on my home machine so I can use AIM in class. ITT has blocked the port that AIM. BUt by using an SSH tunnel to my home machine I should be able to get around this restriction. And also proving that I am leeter that everyone else.

Anyway, in before the buzzer

Hmm. Cheese pretzel thing

Those things rule

I apologize for not posting yesterday. Work happened.

I am friggin’ ass tired right now. Not sure why, either, so I’m making myself some coffee in a vein attempt to wake up. I mean, I’m having a hard enough time focusing on writing this post.

Mmmm. Now that’s some good coffee.

People got pissed at me in class today. I got a 98 on the quiz. It’s simple shit too. Okay, simple to me, but how hard is it to not know that monitor is an output device? C’mon. The thing that bugs me is that the prof curves the quizzes and I got a 98. So who got the 100? I think I’ll have to kill them in mortal combat and drink their delicious knowledge.

I forgot how much fun it is to learn perl. I don’t have to goto work until 6 so I’m gonna see how many chapter I can work throught before I have to leave.

So the Tigers blew it, but I like our chances against the Yankees. Their pitching isn’t that good and their defense is suspect. So we’ve got 5 games, 3 in the Bronx, to get this taking care of. If Robertson can steal the game tomorrow, then I think we’ll be sitting pretty.

The start of (hopefully) daily posts

For those you who know, I did hurt my side working out. And the muscle relaxent that Dr. Swamy perscribed are working beautifully. They’re not making me drowsy nor are they impairing my ability to pwn punk-bitches (or to pwn regular bitches for that matter). And they’re not interacting with my anti-anxity stuff, which is a plus.

I found out today that my prof for Intro to PC (yeah, I know) grades on a curve. Which is good because the first quiz was poorly worded, and the last thing I wanted was some shitty quiz to tank my GPA.

Speaking of hard shots, my prof for Strategies reminds me a lot of Shanti, from UMF. Shanti has an Abe Lincoln obsession, and this guy has a tendency to refer to the frings of the internet as “Crackjobs in their basement in a robe, drinking rot gut and making things sound good.

We’re playing airsoft tomorrow and I’m really excited. I need to get my shooting-people-in-the-face-in-a-completely-non-lethal-way on.

My employer is running a deal tomorrow where if you buy $100 worth of stuff you get a coupon for $2 off of each gallon of gas upto 10 gallons. I’m so glad that I’m not working tomorrow.

Suckers

In an attempt to increase readership and so I have some substance to these puppies, I’m gonna start finding something to talk about besides my life (zomghax). Today, I’m gonna talk about baseball, and if you don’t like baseball (Brett, I’m looking right at you), thank you for your time and see you tomorrow.

As we all know, the Tigers made the playoffs for the first time in 19 years this season, and as such, there is some controversy as to who’s going to be on the playoff roster. One name that has been stated already is pitcher Mike Maroth. A lot of people are ticked about this because Maroth lost 20 games for the Tigers back in ’03 (not because he’s a bad pitcher, but because the team sucked) and they feel that the Tigers owe Maroth something.

I agree with that, but you know what? He’s not healty. If he was healthy, I’d take him on the roster of rookie Andrew Miller any day, but Maroth’s not 100% and the last thingĀ  you want on your playoff roster is finesse pitcher who hurt. I hope that Maroth’s healthy for the ALCS because I would love to see him get a chance in the spotlight
