At least you got to do the family thing. Under pressure from my sister and my mother they insisted I drive to Ann Arbor to celebrate mothers day with them, never mind that I have my OWN wife, I worked 68 hours last week and I need to catch up in my IT109 class. Basically I blew them off and spent the afternoon with my wife, as any good man would. NEWS FLASH: My wife comes first, every time, every event, every day. Some people just don’t get it. Besides, all dad and my brother in law would do is hang out in the garage, my nieces would dissappear to their friends while mom and sis argue about something that happened 6 months ago. Not my idea of a “Happy Mother’s Day”. I stayed home, ate Dove bars with Tina and the kids and had a great time. I got her a new Razor phone and a card……I’m a hero once again.
